    What is the difference between a ‘Contained Item’ and ‘Big Item’ ?

    In order to make the booking process as simple as possible, we categorize junk into 2 categories- ‘Contained Items’ and ‘Big Items’.

    Contained Items: First, place your junk in any portable container such as boxes, heavy duty bags and plastic containers. Count each container full of junk as 1 ‘Container Item.’

    • If you are able to carry the portable container by yourself, you can count that container as 1 ‘Contained Item’ regardless of the amount of junk inside.
    • If your container requires help to carry, count that as 1 ‘Big Item’ even if there is only 1 item inside.

    Big Items: Count each item that cannot be placed inside of a portable container due to weight/size/shape as 1 ‘Big Item.’

    • Count all furniture here like desks, chairs, stools, dressers, couches, tables and beds as well as refrigerators and large appliances.
    • Ex. If you’re junking a bed with a frame, box spring and mattress, that would be 3 ‘Big Items.’
    • If the item requires help to carry, count it here regardless of size/weight.
    Can I see the price/quote before I finish booking?

    Yes! Simply follow the booking form and you will get a quote instantly after you choose your pickup option in Step 2 of the online booking process.

    Where does my junk go?

    Once we pickup your junk, they are taken to a designated disposal center in your county.

    Are there items I can’t junk?

    Visit our Junk We Take page for a list of items we can take and we can’t take.

    Can I cancel my booking?

    Yes! You can cancel any booking for a full refund until 36 hours before the booking start time. If you like to cancel but your booking is less than 36 hours away, please contact us at [email protected].

    I need help disassembling and carrying my junk outside. What do I do?

    If you need help disassembling or carrying heavy items outside, simply choose the ‘In-Home Pickup” option during Step 2 of the online booking process.

    How do I figure out how much junk I have or the truck load I need?

    In STEP 1 of the online booking process, simply enter how many ‘Contained Items’ and ‘Big Items’ you have and our calculator will do the rest! The appropriate truck load will be automatically selected.

    Why do I have to enter a zipcode?

    Entering your zipcode allows the system to check if we currently provide service in your area. If your zipcode is within our service area you will be able to complete booking. If it’s outside of our service area, you will see a notification so you don’t waste time filling out the booking form. Now that’s Smart!

    How do I select a date and time?

    You can select available dates/times during STEP 3 of the online booking process.

    When will I get a confirmation?

    You will get a confirmation via email and/or SMS as soon as we validate your booking.

    How do I schedule a junk pickup online?

    To book/schedule online, all you have to do is follow the steps on the booking form!

    STEP 1: Enter your junk amount

    STEP 2: Choose a pickup option

    STEP 3: Schedule pickup date and time

    Enter your personal and payment details in the checkout page to complete your booking.

    That’s it!
